Finding Public Court
Records
Report by: Arthur

I was always vaguely
aware that most jurisdiction make court records public. It was
not, however, until I had to do some family research that I
realised that this was only of any real benefit if you had a
huge legal library or if you live within striking distance of
the court in whose records you are interested. The internet
obviously changed this dynamic and it is now possible to search
for anything from Federal Court Records down. The problem still
is howver that the information gained is often disjointed and
incomplete. All this changed with the coming Court
Records.org. This excellent service does not
only do complete searches stretching accross all
jurisdictions. It also collates and compares information to
give you the full picture. I am sure that this service
can dramatically cut your research time, regardless
of your reason for wanting to trawl through the
public court records.
